Pen & Gravy Vs Modernish Pop-Up Shop Kirkdale

Post by PenandGravy »

Hi Folks

My name is Jamie (Pen & Gravy) and am writing to let you know that myself and Dan (Modernish) will be running a SEE3 Portas Pilot Christmas Pop Up Shop from 1st-24th December at 161 Kirkdale SE26 4QJ . We're massively excited to be given this opportunity (& a tad stressed with only 6 days until we open the doors!)

What can you expect??

Well, we'll have lots of original art & design products for sale including:-
- one-off hand-drawn lampshades and plates (for a taster please see http://penandgravy.tumblr.com)
- mid-century British and Scandinavian posters and ceramics sourced by Dan (http://www.modernishdesigns.co.uk/)
- screenprints and t-shirts from some very talented buddies

We will also be looking to run a few free family workshops within the space including a basic screen-printing session and opportunities to customise ceramics.

There will also be a community doodle wall within the space - come in and make your mark and you will be entered into a prize draw with some great prizes up for grabs!

To keep up to date with the latest happenings at the shop please see www.twitter.com/penandgravy and www.twitter.com/modernishdan

We open on Saturday 1st December so would be great to meet some of you then!

Cheers

Jamie

Yes, top stuff, a lovely afternoon.

And thanks for complimenting the music, if you were in before 5 that was me on the old ones and twos. A couple of kids came in and were completely perplexed by these round pieces of plastic spinning round in front of them, which amused both me and their Dads.

Looking forward to doing some more with the guys while they're open. Watch this space.

Thanks Pen & Gravy!

I'm really pleased with my prints and hand painted plate
