Vapour trail shadow

OK - I admit it doesn't show up so well in this picture taken with my mobile, but let's post it anyway - I've never seen it before ...

So this morning I noticed a curious darkening in a line going diagonally across some low level clouds. This is my theory



That says high level vapour trail at the top, and the shadow is labeled lower down.

Vapour trails can be almost artistic at times..

Not unusual at all - do a google image search for contrail shadow, loads of pics out there. What IS worrying is the red writing and arrows in the sky. Doomed I tells ya... doomed.
