Perhaps I'm one of the many who don't relish the end of each year or the looking forward to the new year!, New Year's Eve is often a particular non-event for me, I usually prefer to stay home and be sad!! BUT this time I decided to stop being a grump and went to my local, the Golden Lion, for the band. AND what a great night I had!!! The band (Dave Briggs) was fab. The bar staff tireless and friendly. The packed crowd was enthusiastically enjoying the scene! Lots of dancing and chatting! SO definitely be there or be square next New Year's Eve. Come out and enjoy a great night!!!
