I must admit did not realise that Pip was The Golden Lion ( where I have spent many evenings over past 45 years )
I was simply pointing out my dislike of programmes like X Factor and should not have given the impression that people should not visit the Pub.

I am speaking on behalf of The Golden Lion and the extremely talented musicians we have in there every Friday and this Friday 9th Dec will be NO different.
Ben Mills came in 3rd place out of thousands of applicants in the 2006 X Factor he is a singer/songwriter, Guitarist and Keyboard player. His talents would be wasted as a Waiter/Engineer Eagle

Do NOT let Eagle put you off coming down on friday we always have a great night !!!
