Fuel stolen Overnight

Post by pip »

Went out yesterday morning to find for the second time in 6 weeks all the fuel had been syphoned from my old car. Whoever the culprit(s) they have managed to break open 2 security devices without activating the alarm so I take it this is not a one or even two of.
Anybody else had this problem lately? If not, be aware as the local police have told me that they knew of similar incidents in the area about a month ago all involving older cars.

there's a thread on the East Dulwich Forum, seems it's been happening regularly for months especially on scooters

My friend and his girlfriend live on Wood Vale on the se23 and se22 border and their car was being targeted every other week.

Thankfully it has stopped but it got to the point where they were forced to empty the tank in the evening and fill up before they set off anywhere!

Yeah also the street drinkers like a drop of unleaded to top up their octane driven highs.

Yeah, the drifters and street drinkers of Sydenham are regularly seen getting 'souped-up' on Castrol GTX cockails followed by a few 4-STAR chasers, Mike.

I once read that a guy got an asbo for clocking up 10p at his local esso station on a regular basis.

Mad.
