Post by bencooke »

Wow, no expense spared again this year, and I have to say the Tree looks fantastic. Thanks to all our local councillors and town center managers for really going that extra mile, Merry Council Tax everyone!

Have to say the lights in F.Hill and Brockley have been on for the last few days the tree has been up for a couple of weeks and NO LIGHTS the street lights only go down as far as Lidl's the one outside of Istanbul is not working, shall I go on. Personally I think someone needs shooting Sydenham decorations are a pile of "s----" DO SOMETHING FOR GODSAKE!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

The Christmas decorations in Sydenham have always been crap, maybe when it all gets "regenerated" we may get new ones? and please make them represent the majority of people in Sydenham and make them christmassy!

I really like the mini-Christmas trees in Beckenham! But probably too expensive for us....

They actually seem to be a tad better this year. Those nice white ones on the tree and surrounding it are more sophisticated and look better. Obviously Beckenham had some left overs. Those 'colourful' ones in the rest of the street look cheap and depressing. They make it look like Tooting Broadway Xmas 1983.

Carefull !!
Just read about the wonky tree at WHS in Forest hill on the forest hill forum. people are having their eyes out looking for a new tree. Honor Oak Park's one got missing previous year! They now have got some rather large railing around the tree, which makes it looks terrible!!

Ps Yes I do love the Beckenham ones too.
