i've been away for the weekend and was hoping to return to a load of responses on this thread. I am unable to make this Wednesday and the current numbers do not justify a booking.

Reluctantly, I'm taking the decision not to book Wednesday 22nd. :(

Please post availability for the 29th. 8pm kick off

Thanks marathon, but I can't @rse around at this stage. My own attendance is very much in doubt and I don't need the hassle of booking at the last moment.......only to find people have dropped out.

I hope this is enough warning for people to make other arrangements for next Wednesday.

Availability for the 29th is greatly appreciated

(just to add that if people want to bypass me and book their own pitch for the 22nd then go ahead. keep posting of you are available next week and let someone else book the pitch. GOALS at Beckenham North, Copers Cope Road.)

I'm in for 29 July 2009.

No ball, though - it went missing after it went into Row Z in the last match!

i'm sorry your ball went AWOL Rich, but that's what happens when we don't have any rules.

I will use some of the kitty money to replace your ball. Please specify whether you want leather or 'indoor' felt.

I also saw a half-size ball in Tescos for £2.50. This may make the game more lively due to poor control by the outfield players and the goalkeeper not being able to see the ball. I think I should invest for a trial run.

Biscuitman, please purchase a new ball and I will refund you from the accumulated monies.

And still keep posting for the 29th

Cheers, Ali. It wasn't an expensive ball, so replacing it won't cost much.

We have 8 confirmed for the 29th.

Ali B
Trickster
Marathon + 3
Biscuitman + 1

Others will surely want to come along, so I'll book this tomorrow for the 29th and confirm on here.

Keep posting, the more the merrier. Room for at least 2 more

And to keep people forewarned, I am way in early August, possibly for 2 weeks. That being the case, then someone will need to take the reins for a bit. Unless, of course, everyone is holidaying in early August and no-one will be available

Apologies - got here too late.
I'm Marathon's +3. I thought there were enough people turning up tonight so hadn't bothered to register on the forum; shame since it looks like it's been cancelled...would have brought 4.

On for next Wednesday though as my brother seems to have indicated already

it's now booked for the 29th. 8pm kick off.

After an earlier mishap with numbers, I don't assume people are turning up from week to week. I always count on the number of posts for the forthcoming match.

Nevermind, the 29th is now officially a goer
