Just to clarify Steve:
• Dropping litter is bad and shouldn't happen. I'm not saying that dropping any container is good, I'm not sure why you think that.
• There shouldn't be as much rubbish generated, much of it is avoidable.
• Much rubbish isn't just dropped, it's blown out of bins, animals get to it etc.
More rubbish generated = more litter dropped. There will always be a percentage of people who don't care about their local environment. It shouldn't happen, but it does.
Many corporations should be more responsible. It's not just the responsibility of those who drop litter, it's the responsibility of those that generate it too.

We’re on the same page Lee. Just my frustration with the trend for blaming everyone else that seems to pervade society today. Bit like my 14 yr old...lol

Are people still intending to meet this Saturday 3rd March, 11 am at the Golden Lion, dejunking the streets of Sydenham, or do you think we should postpone for say a fortnight given the weather?
