Keeping favourite good causes friendly

I started this thread in the Town Cafe hoping it would stay friendly. Should the comments on it referring to "Donald Trump, Carson, Fox News, Eagle and the Daily Mail" and discussing political parties as bad causes have been made in the Town Pub?

The answer is 'does the thread self-correct?'
Right now it appears to be doing so hence the application of my infamous Nelsonian Eye.
