Crystal Palace park cafe
Crystal Palace park cafe
I went to Crystal Place park cafe at the weekend. Boy, it's pricey for what they're offering. Sandwiches in a wrapper: £3.80, cappuccino: £2.70. ANd it's not the classiest of joints, it has to be said.

I've been there once. The price was ridiculous and the hot drinks well below average.

I'm sure I heard somewhere that they were planning to revamp the cafe. Did I make this up? It's no Green and Browns is it?

The cafe is being refurbished and the concession will be put out to tender.

Well, it's better than what was there before, which was a dive. I think they offer a nice choice food, drinks, etc. but agree, their prices could be lower. Supply and demand you see. It's very popular therefore they can charge more and there's no competition.
